Branding
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to support and spearhead various branding efforts utilizing my motion design abilities in addition to my digital illustration and design skills.
GovExec Rebrand
In May 2021 GovExec underwent a rebrand where they expanded their vision and established themselves as the leader in government media, data and marketing.
The goal: To re-align the Government Executive Media Group brand to be a media, data and insights company to help serve government leaders and their partners.
My part: I worked with a team of designers to create brand materials that stood out in the market and helped announce the new brand and direction of the company. I specifically focused on the motion graphics that could capture the attention of viewers on all social media platforms. In addition, I worked to build and organized the icon library for the brand.

Along with the company's rebrand, a new product was created that needed its own look & feel based on the company's new branding. I took the lead on creating all of the graphics to define this internal product's look and feel. Below are the graphics I created to launch the product.

The Lexington Thumpers
Lexington, Kentucky is known as the horse capitol of the world due to the annual Kentucky Derby at the Keenland Racetrack. The rising population is full of young families as the various industries there revoling around the horses as well as bourbon are booming. There is a need for a local national football team to bring Lexington families together outside of horse derby season.
The Lexington Thumpers is the new local NFL team founded on the aged perfection of Kentucky Bourbon and the speed and strength of the derby horses. The Thumpers bring families of all generations out every Sunday for a game that engages the entire family and creates comrodery amongst the people of Lexington, KY.
Sports Branding
While in school I had the opportunity to build an NFL team brand from the ground up. Lexington, KY does not currently have an NFL team and has a rich culture which served as the perfect place to build the team. Below is the pitch for a new NFL team - The Lexington Thumpers.
